Carpet Cleaning

Cleaning your carpets on a regular bases helps to ensure your home is healthy.

When you select a carpet cleaner, you will choose from a wide variety of cleaning methods, prices and companies.

Troy, with Summit's Finest Carpet Cleaning and Resotation has completed all training recommended by the IICRC and has been professionally cleaning carpets for 11 years with many happy clients.

Shaw Industries, the world's largest carpet manufacturer, recommends HOT WATER EXTRACTION FROM TRUCK MOUNTED UNITS.

Why?: A truck mounted unit cleans much better than a small portable carpet cleaner and dry cleaning for three reasons:

It heats the water to a higher temperature. For every 18 degrees F, you double the water's cleaning ability. So if the water temperature is 120 degrees F, it will clean twice as well as water that is 102 degrees F. Truck mounts can get up to over 200 degrees F.

A truck mount carpet cleaning machine applies the cleaning solution into your carpet at higher pressures, which breaks up the dirt, bacteria, chemicals and pollens. 300 to 500 pounds per square inch is the optimum pressure for truck mount hot water extraction.

A truck mount carpet cleaning machine uses a stronger vacuum to extract the dirt, chemicals, bacteria, pollens and tobacco smoke residue out of your carpet, which allows your carpet to dry faster. A portable carpet machine will not have the same suction and will take the carpet more time to dry. The longer it takes to dry the carpet the more chance of a spot underneath the carpet to wick up to the top.

We know that your home is very important to you and that carpeting is one of the largest investments in your home. While regular vacuuming may remove visible debris, regular carpet cleanings are necessary to keep your carpets looking fresh and new and extend the life of your investment. Soil brought into your home through foot traffic, dust mites, pets, and much more, are the largest contributors to the premature aging of your carpets. Regular carpet cleanings are so important that most major carpet manufacturers require them in order to maintain their warranty. Air quality in your home will also improve by removing these contaminants from your carpets.

Our process is a multiple step process. We first start with spraying the cleaning solution. We then rake in the solution to get it on all sides of the carpet fibers. We then extract the solution using hot water. If scotch guard is requested we put it on and then rake it in. After the solution is extracted we rake the carpet again to help with the drying process.
